Pomona College is located in Claremont, California and offers both Early Decision I and Early Decision II application rounds, as well as Regular Decision. However, no matter what round you’re applying, gaining admission to Pomona is going to be incredibly competitive. Their Regular Decision acceptance rate for the Class of 2028 was only 7.09%. Pomona College Class of 2030

Pomona has not yet published information about the Class of 2029 nor the Class of 2030. However, their Early Decision statistics for the Class of 2028 indicate that there was a 13.0% Early acceptance rate, which is higher than the Regular Decision rate for that year (as a reminder, that was just a hair over 7%), but not by much. Still, students who apply Early Decision usually have an advantage in the elite college admissions process, and Pomona is no different.

Based on the class rank of enrolled students who reported that stat, we will note that a whopping 100% of enrolled students were at the very least in the top half of their graduating classes. Noting that, we would certainly recommend also being in at least the top 50% of your graduating class if you’re planning on sending an application to Pomona.
