University of Georgia is tied at #19 on the US News & World Report “Top Public Schools” list. The school only offers Early Action, which is the non-binding application option, rather than Early Decision I or II, as well as Regular Decision. UGA has received over 34,350 Early Action applications for the Class of 2030, and they received over 47,860 Regular Decision applicants for the Class of 2029, admitting just over 16,200.

Breakdown of the UGA Class of 2030 Admits

As of December 12th, 2025 they have sent out approximately 10,760 offers of admission. Considering they have received over 34,350 EA applications as we noted above, that equates to around a 30% acceptance rate for the Class of 2030 EA admissions round. We can’t yet confirm the exact number of students admitted Early, and we may never be able to, but having a rough idea is certainly helpful for those students considering applying EA to the University of Georgia Class of 2031.
