Vassar Class of 2030 Statistics in Historical Perspective

We do not yet know the acceptance rate or the size of the total applicant pool to the Class of 2030. And while the prevailing trend for most of the last decade of admission cycles at Vassar has been towards increasing selectivity, the two most recent cycles on record, for admission to the Class of 2028 and 2029, have indicated an upswing in acceptance and a downswing in selectivity that may give a clue as to what the Class of 2030 holds.

Over the past five years, for which we have usable data, an average of 11,601 students applied to Vassar, of whom an average of 2,223, or 19.21%, were admitted. The annual size of the admitted students pool has increased slightly over the last decade, with the Class of 2029 setting a record for most students ever admitted in a single year to Vassar: 2,327.
