University of Richmond Class of 2030 Statistics in Historical Perspective

The data for the Class of 2030 has yet to be released to the public, indicating that University of Richmond officials have joined a growing number of institutions in keeping this year’s admissions statistics close to the vest to avoid negative press. But the historical data can fill in some of the gaps. Over the last five years, an average of 15,230 students have applied to U of R per year, while an average cohort of 3,662 students has been accepted per year, resulting in an average five-year acceptance rate of 24.18%. Last year’s Class of 2029 saw both the largest applicant pool in the University of Richmond’s history (16,560 applicants) and the lowest acceptance rate (22.24%).
