Over the last five years, the University of Miami has received an average annual applicant pool of 50,362 students, although this number is on the upswing. Could this year break the record for most applicants, previously set by the Class of 2029’s 58,167 hopefuls? Quite possibly!
The same goes for the acceptance rate. Over the past five years, an average of 20.49% of applicants were accepted to join UMiami, with the record for the lowest acceptance rate also going to the Class of 2029, at 17.61% (well done, ‘29!).
Taken as a whole, this data suggests that the University of Miami is on a winning streak, with selectivity and popularity increasing each year, and we hereby predict this trend will hold for the Class of 2030!
