University of Colorado Class of 2030 Statistics in Historical Perspective

Details about this year’s admission cycle are still forthcoming, as University of Colorado officials have opted to join a growing trend among college administrators and keep this year’s admissions statistics behind closed doors, likely to avoid undue media scrutiny. However, there’s still plenty of historical data for us to chew on. Over the last five years, an average of 61,915 students have applied to CU Boulder each year, a number that has steadily increased. Alongside applicant growth, the number of admitted students has grown, averaging 47,585 annually over the last five years. And while the acceptance rate hasn’t followed quite as straightforward a trendline during this window, the most recent Class of 2029 saw the most competitive admission cycle on record for CU Boulder, with 70.67% of applicants admitted amid a record-setting applicant pool of 73,180 students.
