Texas A&M’s Class of 2030 in Historical Perspective

Last year, the Class of 2029 set a record for most applications received at Texas A&M, clocking in at an impressive 62,967. Of these thousands of prospective Aggies, 32,531, or 51.66%, were accepted, marking the lowest acceptance rate in the school’s history. The last six years of admissions statistics we have at our disposal, thanks to The Common Data Set, reveal that applications to Texas A&M have been skyrocketing, but only in the last three years has the acceptance rate dwindled below 60%. 

Taken as a whole, Texas A&M University is still moderately selective, but all signs point to the fact that this year could prove to be the most competitive on record.
