The Universal College App is live! Students applying as incoming freshman as well as transfers for the fall of 2015 can begin applying through the Universal College Application. The Universal College Application serves over forty colleges throughout the United States and this includes ten new institutions. Among these colleges are: Brandeis University, University of Chicago, Colgate University, Cornell University, Duke University, Emerson College, Harvard College, Johns Hopkins University, Princeton University, Rice University, Tulane University, and Vanderbilt University.
Those are some very prestigious institutions. As you may recall, the Common Application had a disastrous year and in spite of the Common App. financially penalizing universities for not offering their application on an exclusive basis, these prestigious universities dared to defy them. Way to go Duke. Way to go Harvard. Way to go Cornell, Princeton, U of Chicago, Rice, Hopkins, and more! We salute you for your civil disobedience and we’re hoping that a number of students apply to these universities this coming year through the Universal College Application.
Congratulations to our friends at the UCA and best wishes for an application cycle without any mishaps! Not that you’ve had many. Or any. But the Common App. sure has!
