College Admissions Consultation
At Ivy Coach, we offer free 20-minute college admissions consultations. In business terminology, it’s our call-to-action. Many of the students we work with start off with free 20-minute consultations. And many students and parents receive free 20-minute consultations but choose not to work with us. That, after all, is what the free 20-minute consultation is all about. Maybe we’re not right for you. Maybe we wouldn’t work very well together. Maybe you know everything there is to know about college admissions and don’t need our help (uh huh)! But, over the years, we’ve noticed that fewer and fewer parents and students are emailing a “thank you” for the free consultation.
We spent 20 minutes on the phone or on Skype with you. We invested 30 minutes out of our days and offered you our expertise…for free. It’s perfectly OK if you choose not to use us — that’s why it’s a free 20-minute college admissions consultation…but send a “thank you” note. It’s just the right thing to do. We just needed to vent about this. If you’re a high school guidance counselor reading this, maybe you often wonder why parents and students don’t send “thank you” notes. How long does it take to write a quick email anyway? So know that you’re not alone. We’re frustrated, too!
If you’re interested in a free 30-minute consultation, contact us today. But whether you end up using us or not, don’t forget to write a “thank you” note. It’s one thing to say “thank you” on the phone. It’s quite another to send an email. It’s just the right thing to do.
