The Cost of an Ivy League Education

Princeton Cost, Ivy Cost, Ivy League Cost
Princeton is the least expensive of the Ivy League schools.

Are you curious which Ivy League school currently costs the most to attend? Well, hopefully this question hasn’t been keeping you up at night — but if it has been, we’ve got the answer for you. As reports Ivan De Luce for Business Insider in a piece entitled Every Ivy League university ranked from least to most expensive,” Princeton University is currently the least expensive of the Ancient Eight schools. Columbia University is currently the most expensive of its Ivy League peers. And how does it all break down?

Columbia is the Most Expensive Ivy, Princeton the Least Expensive

As De Luce reports for Business Insider, Columbia University, where 59% of students receive financial aid, costs $57,208 a year. University of Pennsylvania, where 58% of students receive financial aid, costs $53,534 per year. Dartmouth College, where 60% of students receive financial aid, costs $53,496 per year. Brown University, where 58% of students receive financial aid, costs $53,419 per year. Cornell University, where 60% of students receive financial aid, costs $52,853 a year. Yale University, where 59% of students receive financial aid, costs $51,400 per year. Harvard University, where 72% of students receive financial aid thanks to the largest endowment of all the world’s universities, costs $48,949 per year. And Princeton University, where 60% of students receive financial aid, costs $47,140 per year.

Surprised by these college price tags? Not surprised? Remember, Columbia happens to be in Manhattan where real estate costs a premium. Anyhow, let us know your thoughts on these figures by posting a Comment below. We look forward to hearing from you!
