What are the most popular majors at the Ivy League schools? While Ivy League schools often include the most popular intended majors in their press releases about their incoming classes, students’ intentions can change. It would thus be more accurate to analyze the majors of recent graduates. So, what were the most popular majors among graduates at each of the eight Ivy League schools?

So, it’s the social sciences and computer science that really lead the pack among the Ivy League schools in terms of the most popular majors of recent graduates. Social sciences are the most popular majors at Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale, and the second-most popular majors at UPenn. Computer science-related disciplines at Brown and Cornell were the most popular majors and were the second-most popular at Dartmouth.
