The University of Mumbai must put a stop to universities granting illegal admission, according to “The Times of India.”

According to “The Times of India,” the Bombay High Court has instructed the University of Mumbai to put a stop to colleges granting illegal admission. Apparently, applicants that have not in one sitting passed their HSC exams, board exams given to students at the end of 11th grade, have in the past been granted admission. The illegal admissions have been discovered after the students have already completed years at the university. Said the judges, “The University will take firm measures to ensure that at least in future the issue of eligibility is decided in a time-bound manner before the expiry of the first academic year itself,” said the judges.”
