No conversation about highly selective universities with the most supplemental essay prompts would be complete without a mention of Stanford University. Stanford has historically not been shy about requiring applicants to answer a host of admissions essay prompts. This year is no different. In fact, Stanford asks this year’s applicants to Stanford to respond to 7 short questions (each with 50 word limits) and 3 short essays (each with 250 word limits). As regular readers of our college admissions blog know all too well, applicants should always use all of the real estate available to them in order to most effectively make their case.
