Thank You to Our Troops
On this fifteenth anniversary of September 11th, we at Ivy Coach wish to reaffirm our longstanding commitment to helping as many of America’s troops as we can, on a pro bono basis, earn admission to the colleges of their dreams. Each and every year, we take on some pro bono cases of our men and women who honorably serve America in uniform and it’s work we are immensely proud of. These men and women are some of the most memorable young people we come across each year and they’re always so appreciative of our help.
We’ve even found that they say “please” and “thank you” more than most. Even if we can’t take them on as clients because we’re at capacity for the year and we just offer them advice on what they can do to improve their case for admission, they appreciate all the help they can get. They appreciate our time. They so often even send “thank you” notes. While this may seem silly or outdated, it’s something we’ve noticed from working with America’s brave men and women in uniform. It’s an observation about the little things in life.
We used to offer pro bono services to students from low-income families, to underrepresented minorities, and more. But once we realized how satisfying it was to help our brave men and women who serve America in uniform — many of whom are from low-income families and are underrepresented minorities — get into their dream colleges, we decided to offer our pro bono services exclusively to them. And we make no apologies for this singular commitment.
So on this fifteenth anniversary of America’s darkest hour, we reaffirm our commitment to helping these courageous and kind young people who risk their lives to protect our very freedoms. If you’re an active duty service member or veteran of our armed forces, check out Ivy Coach’s pro bono service offerings and do be in touch. Our pro bono service offerings are reserved exclusively for you because we don’t just believe in lip service. We believe in doing what we can to help you achieve your dreams upon the completion of your military service.
