Lehigh’s Class of 2030 in Historical Perspective

Although Lehigh officials have reported a record-breaking 20,441 applicants for the Class of 2030, as of the publication of this blog, we do not yet know how many were admitted and thus remain in the dark as to whether this year also broke the record for the acceptance rate (although this wouldn’t be all that surprising!). Over the past five years, an average of 18,754 students have applied for admission (a number that has risen dramatically over the past 10 years!). The average acceptance rate has clocked in at 33.42% during this window.

We’re still awaiting demographic information on the Mountain Hawks admitted to the Class of 2030, but with the publication of the 2026-2027 Common Data Set, every question mark we have on this cohort will be resolved.
