Cornell University Waitlist Prospects Grim
Bev Taylor, founder of Ivy Coach, gave a different explanation. She said that with so few students nabbing acceptances off the waitlist, colleges and universities often strategically waitlist thousands of students who will not be accepted in an attempt to evade offending applicants in the touchy admissions game.
